Marika is a beautiful female with gorgeous fleece. Nice high frequency crimp, good density and fast regrowth. Her fineness is very uniform over her body, showing a difference of only 1.1 micron between shoulder, mid side and hip.
Her pedigree includes an incredible combination of great alpacas : Jolimont Peruvian Pauco, Alpamayo and Ringo, Peruvian Bonanza, and 4Peruvian Latora (Golden Boy's dam).
Marika is currently boarding in Saskatchewan. She is currently bred to Aztec Ignite, a goergeous Artic Ice son who had a histogram of 20.83 microns at 2 years of age (with a CV of 20.3%). We beleive that Marika, coupled with Ignite's extreme fineness could give us a show stopper ! She will give birth and be re-bred out West before coming back to our farm at the end of summer.
